Welcome to the Furzedown Community Network


The Furzedown Community Network is a non-political organisation committed to promoting a sense of community in Furzedown, campaigning for facilities and services for local people and improving the local environment. Find out more about the Network by surfing through the menu items on the left.

The Furzedown Festival

The Furzedown Festival ended on 6th July ; With the Festival funday attended by an estimated 3,000 people despite the grey skies, it proved to be the most popular Festival event ever.

The world short film showings sold out, as did many other events in 2008.

Planning will begin for 2009 more or less immediately
