Living Streets is a national charity that promotes the development of streets and public spaces that people on foot can use and enjoy. This includes:

• raising awareness of the importance of clean attractive public spaces for local quality of life
  
• promoting good practice in design, maintenance and management of spaces for walking
  
• providing advice and information to local groups such as the Furzedown Community Network (FCN)
