Launching
an Oral History project in Furzedown
Free Event
Over
the past few years, many of the streets of Furzedown have been
celebrating their centenaries.
With
one hundred years of extensive settlement in the area, it seems the
right time to initiate an oral history project,
Creating
an opportunity to capture, record and archive people's memories of
living in this part of London.
Anyone interested in being interviewed
or in training to record, edit and archive oral
history
in the area is warmly invited to this open meeting
to explain the project's aims and intentions and to encourage local
involvement, ideas and networking.
Refreshments
available.
