What is the Furzedown Community Network?
A community where everyone is welcome!
Launched in 2001, the Furzedown Community Network (FCN) is made up of local people keen to promote a sense of community in Furzedown.
We work to improve our neighbourhood, making it a safe and friendly place to live. We run talks and events including Quiz Nights, Family fun days, Jazz on the Lawn and the Christmas Tree Lights Switch-on. We also facilitate and support initiatives that benefit the local community including Martin Beaver’s War Walk Map, the Gift from Furzedown Christmas Stocking Project and the Faylands Centre Garden Project.
Did you know...?
Furzedown is an electoral ward in Tooting at the southeast tip of the borough of Wandsworth, bordering Merton and Lambeth. The ward is roughly in the shape of a kite, hence our famous kite logo.
